Academic and Professional Background
As a passionate, dedicated and, detail-orientated urban planning professional, I bring a unique combination of academic rigor and practical experience to the field. Currently completing my second Masters' degree of Urban Planning from Alabama A&M University. I have developed a strong foundation in urban design, transportation planning, and GIS applications while performing my responsibilities as a Graduate Research Assistant. With experience working as a JUNIOR URBAN PLANNER and ASSISTANT GIS SPECIALIST in two consultancy firms, I have honed my skills in collaborative planning, spatial analysis, and data visualization. My expertise spans urban planning and policy development, GIS analysis, urban analytics, and community engagement, with proficiency in software such as GIS software, SketchUp, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, I am working with programming languages to work efficiently in data analysis and web development. With a passion for creating sustainable and equitable urban environments, I am excited to leverage my skills and knowledge to drive positive change in the field of urban planning.
